The Need for Development
Nationally we are facing a growing housing shortage as people are living longer and in smaller households. There are not enough homes being built to meet the demand and as a result there is a need to boost the supply of homes.

Demand for housing in the South Worcestershire area is high. Wychavon District Council need to ensure that new homes are provided to meet the needs of existing and future residents.

This development proposes around 80 open market and affordable dwellings to help meet this housing need and includes on-site public open space and landscaping. Land is also being put forward for the extension of the Jubilee Playing Fields in the form of sports pitches and open space.
